ABOUT WELL WOMAN
Our Story
Rooted in the transformative encounters of the Woman at the Well (John 4) and the Shunammite Woman (2 Kings 4), we believe every woman is created for purpose.
About Well Woman
Well Woman was birthed from a divine revelation rooted in two powerful biblical narratives—the Shunammite Woman and the Woman at the Well. Though their stories unfolded in different seasons and circumstances, both women teach us what it truly means to be well.
The Shunammite Woman (2 Kings 4)
She is remembered for her unwavering faith. Even in the face of unimaginable loss, when her son lay lifeless, her confession remained the same: "It is well." She understood that her source of life, healing, and restoration came from God alone. Her story reminds us that wellness is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of unshakable faith.
The Shunammite Woman (2 Kings 4)
The Woman at the Well (John 4)
She encountered Jesus at her place of emptiness and shame. There, at an ordinary well, she met the Living Water. Jesus offered her a healing so deep that He declared she would never thirst again. In one encounter, her past was redeemed, her identity restored, and her purpose awakened.
Together, these women reveal the heart of Well Woman.
